I ♫: "SMILE"

 I this wonderful slow heart-tugging song performed by Judy Garland! It sounds so sad, but although it's full of optimism for me!

"Smile" is based on an instrumental theme used in the soundtrack of the 1936 Charlie Chaplin movie Modern Times. The great Chaplin composed the music, while John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title in 1954 and originally sung by Nat King Cole. Over the years many artists have recorded the song including Tony Bennett, Barbara Streisand, Rod Steward and - yes! - Michael Jackson.

If you smile, through your fear and sorrow
